WORLDWIDE PREMIERE
This concert made the Beethoven's dream a reality : have people
over the world singing the finale of his 9th symphony, the Ode to Joy,
at the same time :
Moscow, San Francisco and Geneva have been linked by satellite, and
have simultaneously sang the final movement of Beethoven's 9th.
The World Philharmonic Orchestra, in Montreal, and 3 giant screens
on stage to broadcast live the following choirs:

- The USSR State Academy Russian Choir (100 members of
the Gostelradio choir)
from SAN FRANCISCO :
- The Masterworks Chorale from San Mateo (100 members)
from GENEVE :
- The "Suisse Romande"'s Choir (100 members)
